The Chateau de Chantilly belonged to Henri d’Orléans, Duke of Aumale, the son of the last king of France. It is one of the largest art museums in France, featuring works by Delacroix and Botticelli.
The Chateau de Chantilly is separated in two parts, the private apartments of the princes and the painting galleries and the Musée Condé. The painting galleries are vast, constituting the second biggest collection of classical art just behind the Louvre Museum, thanks to its wonderful 800 paintings.
