Pope Leo XIV’s Paris Itinerary
Friday, September 25
Pope Leo XIV will arrive in Paris at Paris-Orly Airport at 10:00 AM, before travelling to the Élysée Palace, where he will meet with French President Emmanuel Macron and representatives of French society.
In the afternoon, he will visit UNESCO headquarters before making his way towards Notre-Dame de Paris, where he will celebrate Vespers at 5:15 PM.
One of the highlights for visitors will be the Pope’s journey through the streets of Paris. Members of the public will have the opportunity to see him during his papamobile procession through the Left Bank, travelling from the Notre-Dame-des-Champs area towards Place Saint-Michel.
The day will conclude at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis, where Pope Leo XIV will take part in a prayer vigil with young people.
Saturday, September 26
The Pope’s second day in Paris will begin with a visit to Maison Bakhita, a social centre supporting migrants and people experiencing vulnerable circumstances.
He will then visit the Institut Catholique de Paris, where he will meet members of the Catholic community.
The main public event of the day will take place at 3:00 PM, when Pope Leo XIV will celebrate Mass at Place de la Concorde. The Champs-Élysées and surrounding areas are expected to welcome large crowds for the occasion.
Later that afternoon, the Pope will leave Paris from Orly Airport and continue his journey to Lourdes.
