La Fête du Pain 2025: A Celebration of Artisan Bread in Paris

From May 1st to 11th, 2025, La Fête du Pain returns to the Notre-Dame square in Paris, offering visitors a chance to dive into the world of artisanal baking. This event, organized by the Syndicat des Boulangers du Grand Paris, celebrates the craftsmanship of French bakers and the quality of traditional French bread.

Expect live demonstrations, hands-on workshops, tastings, and prestigious competitions such as the “Best Baguette in Paris” contest and the “Best Croissant” award, using Charentes-Poitou butter. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the bread-making process, from kneading to baking, thanks to passionate artisans.

This 2025 edition is particularly special, as it takes place after the reopening of Notre-Dame Cathedral. Visitors can explore the restored cathedral while savoring authentic French bread. Every day, crowds will gather to admire both the architectural wonder and the delicious creations of talented bakers.

La Fête du Pain is also a great way to promote the traditional French bread, made according to time-honored methods that guarantee authenticity and quality. The event allows bakers to highlight their craft and share their passion with the public.
