BOOKINGS

How do I book a tour?

Go to the page of the tour of your choice. On the right side of the page, select the number of participants, your desired date and starting time, and click the “book now” button. You will then be redirected to the secure payment page in order to complete your booking.

My desired date appears unavailable. Why is that?

Tour availability may depend on external factors. For example, you will not be able to book a tour of the Louvre on a Tuesday as the museum is always closed that day.

Will there be other people in the tour?

All our tours are 100% private – that means just you and your party only! Plus your professional local guide, of course (and chauffeur in case you’ve chosen private transportation).

How far in advance do I need to book?

We suggest you book anytime from 6 to 12 weeks prior the tour date to ensure availability, especially if you are traveling during peak season (i. e. New Year’s Eve).

Do you take last-minute bookings?

We will do our best to organise your last-minute tour, however, it may not be possible due to lack of availability of guides, tickets, etc. We strongly encourage you to book as far in advance as possible in order to avoid disappointments!

Can I book a tour for a group larger than the maximum size stated?

Yes, in most cases we can organise tours for private groups larger than the maximum group sizes stated on our website, with some exceptions – please contact us at contact@myprivateparis.com for more details.

Can I book your tours if I’m traveling with children?

Of course! Our guides are able to adapt any itinerary to children of all ages. Please let us know in advance the number and ages of the kids so our guide can come fully prepared and adapt the tour accordingly.

Payments by credit card

If payment is made by credit card, the money will be debited immediately.

BEFORE YOUR TOUR

How do I cancel a booking? What is your refund and cancellation policy?

Any request for cancellation must be received by e-mail at contact@myprivateparis.com. In case of cancellation, our refund policy is:

  • 10 days or more before the tour dates: 100% refund.
  • 5 to 10 days before the tour dates: 50% refund.
  • 5 days or less prior the tour dates: no refund.

When we have to buy entrance tickets in advance (Eiffel Tower, Versailles, Louvre, Musee d’Orsay, etc) the amount paid for these will not be refunded. Conditions will be similar in case of strike in the listed places. Cancellation or interruption of the tour during its delivery at the client’s wishes shall not give rise to any refund.

If a cancellation requires a refund of any amount, total or partial, the refund will be processed within 30 days from the cancellation confirmation.

How can I make changes to my reservation?

Any request for modification must be received by e-mail at contact@myprivateparis.com. Any change of date or content cannot be guaranteed and shall be applied subject to availability.

How do I know that my payment has been accepted?

You will automatically receive an automatic e-mail confirmation once your payment has gone through.

How do I get my tour confirmation?

Tours are confirmed upon full payment reception. A few days before your tour you will receive an e-mail from My Private Paris team with your guide’s information and contact details.

DURING YOUR TOUR

What happens if I am late?

If you are going to be late, we kindly ask that you call your guide on the mobile number provided on your confirmation e-mail. If for any reason you are not able to communicate with your guide, please call us at +33 768 800 684.

Should I tip my guide?

Gratuities are not at all mandatory but always appreciated!

Meteorological conditions

Every itinerary is adapted as much as possible to the weather conditions on the day. If the tour or a part of it cannot be delivered due to weather conditions, it shall not give rise to any refund.

Luggage and personal items

My Private Tours SAS and its partners cannot be held responsible for the loss or the theft of personal belongings and luggage and cannot guarantee the return of personal belongings and luggage left in the vehicles or anywhere else during the tour.

Product photography

Every effort is made to provide photos that give the client an overview of the services offered. These photos are intended to indicate the type or the level of comfort and sites and cannot be a source of commitment beyond that purpose.

Required documents

It is the responsibility of the client to check that she/he is in possession of the necessary documents for her/his stay. No refunds shall be given in case of lack or loss of the necessary documents.

Pick-up and drop-off

Extra charges apply for pick-up and/or a drop-off services outside Paris.
